At twenty-one years of age, fresh from a three-year program of Bible study and ministry preparation, I accepted calls to pastor two Baptist churches in Vermont. It was the beginning of a life of vocational Christian ministry extending from the fall of 1970 through the spring of 2018. I pastored congregations in the USA (Mt. Holly & East Wallingford, Vermont), England (Peterborough), and Canada (Dartmouth, NS – Port Perry, ON – Richmond Hill, ON – Cobourg, ON). In addition to my years of pastoral ministry, I led an evangelistic outreach ministry within the Greater Toronto Area Jewish community for seven years.

I received formal biblical and theological training from the New Brunswick Bible Institute (Diploma, 1970) ,Central Baptist Seminary (now Heritage Seminary – M.T.S., 1993), and Briercrest Seminary (M.Min., 1999).

I am a conservative evangelical holding a baptistic ecclesiology and a reformed soteriology.

This newsletter includes reviews of books (new & old); studies of biblical, theological themes; and commentary on living a meaningful life. I invite you to read, reflect and respond.
